7.8 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Off Coast of Southen Sumatra, Indonesia
An earthquake measuring 7.8 struck off the coast of southern Sumatra. According to a bulletin issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, and is in effect for Indonesia only, not for the wider Indian Ocean region.
